Life is lighter on Bonaire

Buying or selling a house is a business transaction and also highly personal matter. That’s why it’s so
important who your real estate agent is. It is important that you feel you are able to trust your realtor right
off the bat. We are naturally honest and transparent in our communication. That clarity brings light.

There is actually a lot of paperwork involved in buying or selling a property. On Bonaire, it’s especially
challenging to get things done. We always think: let us take care of this right away.

We know exactly what the building regulations mean and how to interpret the spatial development plan. We
have the answers to environmental questions about, for example, Ramsar, protected trees, piers, sewers, and
so on. And if the rules on the island change, we can make a few calls and know what those changes mean for
our clients. And then there is light again…

Long story short: if you are looking for a decisive expert who assists you with high-quality, professional, and
local knowledge, but who can just as easily stand in line for you at the authorities? A professional with a
personal approach built on trust, professionalism, and genuine guidance? Look no further… just get in touch.

What started 20+ years ago as a journey to a beautiful
island has grown into a new life and a new career. It’s really
quite simple: I want to be an excellent real estate agent
every single day. I combine that ambition with my love for
unique properties. My clients benefit from this.

I also know my way around local authorities, having worked
as a policy advisor at DRO of the OLB for a couple of years.
This has given me many valuable insights. My love for
traveling has given me the flexibility needed to navigate an market on a multicultural island.

What started as an idea in 2023 grew out to the business it
is today. The year 2026 started with an addition to Lux. I am
delighted to announce that Andrea and I have joined forces.
We share the same values and I look forward to working
together in guiding our clients on their real estate journey.

I was born and raised in Switzerland, and after years of
traveling by sailboat while continuing to work
internationally, Bonaire became my true port of call — the
place where I chose to build both my life and my career.

Real estate is about more than buying and selling property.
It’s about understanding people, their plans, and the life
they are building. My goal is simple: to offer personal guidance combined with strong market knowledge so my
clients can make decisions with clarity and confidence.

Through my work in real estate, as well as my own
experience on both the client and investor side, I
understand the process from multiple perspectives. This
allows me to guide clients with professionalism, realistic
advice, and a clear step-by-step approach. I speak
German, Spanish, and English fluently and am improving
my Dutch every day — maar je moet wel langzaam praten ;).

I have always been active as a real estate agent on Bonaire,
and I value the relationships built over time. Now, I’m proud
to take the next step with Lux Realty Bonaire together with
Eva.
